    bizarre wireless connection problem.

i seem to have a bizarre wireless problem with my Toshiba satellite L500D with windows 7. sometime i will be surfing around the web and all sudden it will disconnect but the icon in the corner says it is still connected. sometime time i can disconnect and reconnect and thing will start working great again but then other times i have no choice but to reset the laptop. i have tried deleting my wireless network profile and re-adding it and it has not made a difference. i had thought that is could possibly be my router since it was old but the computers that i have running windows xp have not been having any problems and my laptop has been working great with it for about a year. it was just recently that it has started doing it.

same problem with other router? (visit a friend of yours)
I think it's not disconnect but only some sort of internet freeze.

Can you send and receive mails in case of them problems? (not webmail of course). Or try torrent or limewire or "windows updates". Are you realy sure internet connection has been lost?

it does not just disconnect from the internet. i can not access anything on my network when it does this. it is like it is completely disconnected from my router but the computer says that is is connected. i have not tried direct wiring it into the router when i have problems. i think it would work since the computers running xp seem to not lose connecting like mine.
