LAN gives wrong IP address of 169.254.232.91 instead of 192.168.1.111

I have my PCs with static IPs for remote desktop access, however 1 PC will not allow the static IP to be 192.168.1.111?

I set the IP address to 192.168.1.111 and then check in CMD with ipconfig and the details are:
    Autoconfiguration IPv4 Address..:169.254.232.91
    Subnet Mask...........................: 255.255.0.0
    Default Gateway.....................: 192.168.1.1

This is wierd as it does have an internet connection, but my network is on Subnet 255.255.255.0.

I then change the LAN from the static 192.168.1.111 to dynamic by selecting the Obtain an IP address automatically.
This then give the ipconfig details:
    Autoconfiguration IPv4 Address..:192.168.1.113
    Subnet Mask...........................: 255.255.255.0
    Default Gateway.....................: 192.168.1.1

Please help as I need 192.168.1.111.

Looks like you have DHCP giving out IP addresses in that range. Is 192.168.1.111 already assigned by DHCP?

I fixed this. Changed another PC which was on the wrong static IP of 192.168.1.111 to 192.168.1.1xx and now this PC accepts the 192.162.1.111.
