    Internet connection, but no network?

So, we have a network of about one terabyte of storage on it. It is normally connected to my laptop, a desktop and our Playstation 3. Obviously it connects via internet with our wireless router and such but for some reason it won't connect to my laptop? I have everything except a few programs on the network (Everything from my documents to my pictures to my other programs are stored on the network)...thus not being able to access it is a HUGE difficulty...

If anyone has any ideas as to how I might be able to fix this I'd appreciate it. For now I shall go inspect our router...

You might have tried to troubleshoot the problems by right-clicking on the Network Icon in the System Tray. What message did you get? Or is the Network Icon in the System Tray missing?

And is your network card installed and working properly? What if any error messages you get when you try to troubleshoot the network?
I had the same issues with my laptop some time back and a simple uninstall and reinstall of lan card drivers did the trick so if that helps you at all?

Might also wanna try a few steps listed for resolving a similar kind of No connection with Wireless Network situation.
