After a day and a half and at least ten supposed solutions by chance I came across your registry fix and that was the solution. I would have tried the "easier" route with LGPE but I haven't a clue how to access it and, rather than automatically apply your fix, I manually modified the register to match.

I've had one heart attack already and was heading for the second.

Despite being in the business for 45 years, it never ceases to amaze me how, invariably, it can be so complex and problem riddled when trying to get two systems to talk to each other. It shouldn't be like that in this day and age.
