    Is it just me????

I am using Window 7 64 bit 7100 build, Asus M3N78-VM , Phenom 3x core 8750 processor, 8Gb RAM (1066) onboard Gb LAN, NVidia Chipset, Linksys Wireless N broadband router.
Ever since I connected the Linksys router, I cant seen to stay on the net for more than 20 minutes without it crashing. I ran the trouble shooter, and it says PROBLEM FOUND: Your computer appears to be correctly configured, but the device or resource (DNS server) is not responding. However, when I use my USB wireless adapter, it doesn't drop as often. I had a regular D-Link switch prior to the wireless router, and I can't remeber having this problem. Someone Please help because I need wireless in my household andcan't go back to the switch. My other machine ( running Win XP) have no connectivity problems.

It's not just you. Netgears, DLink and a few others have consistent problems with 7 drivers. You could try to disable driver signing and reinstall the drivers in Vista/XP Compat Mode.

You can try OpenDns search the web for it. It is a free service that you can sigh up for. IF your ISP Dns servers are flakey this is another option. The simpilifed version open your routers settings in your browser and look for DNS then where it says DNS Servers 0.0.0.0
    0.0.0.0

    Use these 208.67.222.222
    208.67.220.220
IF that dose not resolve the problem then I would say that it is either a hardware, driver,or just the ISP service the latter is probally where the problem is I have a family member the cant choose where to get their service from and to date this is the best soultion we have come up with for the same type of prblem for DNS Errors.

In this case with your Nvidia chipset, it could easily be an eithernet driver problem, only certain drivers work well with Windows 7 on certain boards. So try different Nvidia eithernet drivers until you can find one that works correctly with Windows 7. The 15.50 series should work for you.
