Not connected - No connections are available

I cleaned my PC with CCleaner and rebooted it, now the internet connections icon always say "Not Connected - No connections are available" with a red X. I use D-LINK DIR-615 router. Windows 7 Ultimate x64. Is there a way to make my laptop search for local area connections?

P.S. My network drivers are current and the button to set network is ON.
    Thank you

If as you say your looking for a LAC, your router could be blocking you. If its Wireless, go here and delete yours.
