Web storage of files wth file locking
I need a way of accessing files (in particular Microsoft Project files) stored in an Internet location from several computers running windows XP, Vista and seven. If one person has the file open for editing, and another person tries to open the same file, I need to see the "file in use" dialog or similar (just like it does if I try to open the same file on a LAN drive from two places), so that the new user can see who is using the file, and choose whether to open a read only copy, wait for notification that the file is available, create a local copy, send a message to the current user, etc. What is the best way of achieving this?
Thanks - Rowan
