Problems with internet connectivity after hibernate

I seem to have trouble connecting to the internet after coming out of hibernation mode a couple times a week. This doesn't always happen but when it does I need to run trouble shooting several of times before the connection can be restored. It usually has me reenter the password or reset my driver. I am connected wirelessly though netgear router connected to a modem. I don't believe the problem is with the router since no other computer in the apt. have this problem. The netbook also seems to have this problem with other network connections. I am not very computer literate so please respond as if you were talking to your parents or grandparents :). Here are my specs.

    Welcome to Seven Forums Katie,

Go to your Device Manager, here's a general Tutorial on how to access Device Manager, go to the Power Management Tab and uncheck the first box from the file attached. Test your wireless connection after and if it didn't help then you may want to download the latest driver for your Wi-Fi adapter. I'd suggest for you to uninstall the driver then manually install the new driver. The instruction for this is also in the general Tutorial that I gave you.
