Hey Seven Forums
I have somewhat a odd problem that i cant solve:
When i transfer files to my stationary running win 7 from either a ftp server running on my laptop or NAS the transfers speed is limited to something around 10 Mbit speeds (roughly 1,1 MB/s). The connection is registered as 1 Gbit in win 7 so something is wrong.
When i boot into Opensuse on the stationary computer and do the same transfers i get speeds around 10/20 MB/s for NAS/laptop which is due to hardware limitations on the server side (100% cpu usage).
Transfers between the laptop and NAS are running around 10 MB/s as well, so it seems to be some setting in win 7 somewhere or a driver fault.
The transfer speeds in win 7 was the same as in Opensuse but after i played with some WOL the speed dropped, and i canīt get it back up. I just tried reinstalling win 7 completely with a clean OS disk, but the speed are the same.
I have updated the driver to the latest on Realtek's homepage and i have tried with the one listed on my motherboards homepage without luck.
I hope some of you have some suggestions.
Thanks in advance
Omorashi
