I've been pretty confident of that from the start. As to finding the best one for you, I kind of came up short on it. The fact you have the exact device id though should help in that.
As I said above I know for a fact both dell and hp have used that device in their models.
The problem is I just don't know exactly which models. Which makes going to their site and searching for the driver very difficult.

Can't I do anything to find the model faster/easier?
To take the drivers one by one is...

you could try the local hp forums. They have some of their own guru's maybe one of them would know it off the top of his head.

I'll try downloading some drivers and test. Will ask there too.
Thank you.

Sorry for double-posting, again, but if I put the laptop to sleep, wait a few seconds then wake it up, the wireless works, for a short period of time though.

Also, does the Hardware ID help?

Do you have any other devices that run wireless on this router?

It didn't state that there was anything else being presented on this router.
That being said; Can the laptop detect different wireless routers? / Have you tried it on another networks?

Not the greatest with networks but doesn't euro wi-fi use more channels? Like 14 instead of our 11? Do you have the router set to auto-scan for the best channel? If so, try to specify channel 1 or 11 in the router config and your network card properties to see if helps.

The router works fine.
I even managed to connect the laptop to it but only when Wireless worked (after resuming a sleep session), therefore I guess it's a driver issue...I think.
Wi-fi worked good on the pre-installed Windows, that's why I'm thinking that the driver might be the cause.

Basically, if, sometimes, I put the laptop to sleep (or restart) Wi-fi works, but after I restart (or put it to sleep) then it shuts down again, and the Fn+F3 (for Wi-fi) shows that the Wi-fi is on, but it doesn't work (until I do the sleep/restart thing).

Sometimes it works and sometimes not.

Edit: This laptop's configuration is very similar to HP Mini 210's one and after reading the forums there, and THIS topic, it seems I am not the only one with the issue.
However, I don't understand how he fixed it. (not a native English speaker here)

Edit 2: Found THIS but I have that driver installed and the same problem.
