I have several machines in my home running Windows 7. I've got a headless system in the basement (it's running the RC, build 7100) that I use for crunching video conversions. I'm taking advantage of the "Homegroup" setup. I've got several shares on the "extra" PC that appear on the homegroup. At one point I RDP'd into that PC, and moved a couple of the shares (ie "converted videos") from one drive to another. Now, I have TWO instances of "converted videos" showing up on the homegroup. Clicking one brings up the new location of the share, the old one doesn't do anything (until it eventually says that it can't find it). I checked the "shares" (going through My Computer/Manage) and only the new share actually exists on the PC, but both appear in the homegroup.
Any ideas how to get rid of these "ghost" share locations showing up on my homegroup? I have also rebooted all PC's.
