Windows 7: Some programs will not recognize an internet connection

I've run into a problem in the last couple of days where some programs are not recognizing that I have an internet connection. I'm currently posting this from the computer, so I obviously am able to get online, but programs like Steam, mIRC, and uTorrent are giving me errors.

I've looked around at some other threads, and checked the things they said to, but none of it has worked. I did an ipconfig /all and the top half looks normal, but there are some parts of the bottom half I'm not sure are normal, this is what it's showing:

If anyone could help me out with this, I would greatly appreciate it. Not having access to a bunch of programs on my computer has been a serious inconvenience.

this is 90% sure a firewall issue to check disable your firewall(s) (having more then 1 is NOT a good idea) and try those programs.Problem gone ? then modify your firewall to allow those program to access the internet.

I haven't installed any extra firewalls, the only programs I have as far as firewalls/AV are the Windows Firewall and Avira.

I turned all of the firewalls off (Domain, Public and Private), and there are still some programs that won't work.

Edit: I don't know if this is also worth mentioning, but we have 4 computers in our household, all hardwired to a router, none of us use wireless. I'm the only one experiencing this sort of problem.

Thanks for the info. provided.

Let's edit your DNS Servers, leave the 192.168.1.1 and replace the other 2 and with these Google DNS's 8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4.
