My computer is saying that it is connected but won't go to my browser.

We recently changed from dial up to a mobile hotspot device for internet services. My computer is saying that it is connected but It will not go to my browser. It gives me these trouble shooting reports: Remote device or resource won't accept the connection and the device or resource (Google) is not set up to accept connections on port "the world wide web service (http)" Please tell me what to do to fix this.

    Open your command prompt:

    type: ipconfig /all

    Show Seven Forums your results.

When you say "mobile hotspot device" do you have a dongle for your internet access? If so which carrier and is the device installed correctly?

You probably need a USB dongle, similar to this one: Amazon.com: D-Link DWA-125 150Mbps Wireless USB Adapter: Electronics
