Internet Crashes Randomly when Gaming

When i usually play some games my internet crashes for up to 5-60 seconds and then starts up again by that time i have disconnected from the game (if it is a Online game of course) so i need to reconnect all the time this can happen randomly so its no telling when my internet is going to crash (no other computer on the network has this problem only me) i have had this problem 8 months now and its relay annoying.
Can some one help me whit this?
(my computer is a laptop)
(using wireless internet to router)

Gaming wirelessly isn't what I'd call the best choice because the signal strength and the channels being used tend to determine the quality of the signal and both are highly variable depending on many factors.

Have you tried either moving closer to the router or access point or have you tried using a different wireless channel which aren't being used by your neighbors?

The thing is that i have got excellent Connection on the wireless network it is kind of wierd, but i can try the cable it was a wile ago i used it so i am going to try that now (i'm playing wow and the game has been disconnected 3 times after i posted this...)

The only other thing I can think of is to go the Asus web site and obtain the most updated drivers for your network connections, both wired and wireless. Getting the latest chipset drivers for your board would also be a good idea.

Windows updates is worth checking out also.

Updating the firmware for your router can also be helpful.

Okay (by the way my internet haven't crashed yet ) just need to find all thees updates just to be on the safe side.

Lets try the updates and the newer drivers then give it some time, maybe a day or two to make sure.

Every thing works as it should and I have updated the drivers (I hope that i installed the right ones ) I'm using the cable now so I may use that for a wile now.

It might be interesting to see if the changes you made will help with the wireless connection problem but in general it's best to use a wired connection for gaming if possible.
