two simultaneous wifi connections on one computer

Running a ThinkPad t400 with its built-in wifi and a USB plugin wifi. Running Win 7 Pro 64 bit...

I need to use both wifi connections at the same time because when I publish a newsletter (for retirees) I have to connect to Stamps.com with one wifi (via a Verizon mifi hotspot), and, at the same time, to my network printer with the other (USB) wifi.

I can connect them one at a time and they work, but connecting both at once, only one works. How can I get them to work together?

    Thanks,

    This wont work correctly.

Connect your printer via a cable or connect your wireless printer to your wireles hotspot (If safe to do so).

    Phooey!

I got Windows 7 because I read somewhere (online) that it would accommodate 2 wireless adapters at once!

Might have to go to Linux, after all...

You can buy another Wireless adaptor and use each adaptor to connect to each wireless network. The IP ranges would need to be different though.

    I wouldn't advise it really.

I finally got around to changing the netID on my wireless router by increasing the number by 1. Now the two networks work together seamlessly.

It hadn't occurred to me that my Verizon hotspot and my Netgear router would have come with the same netID.

The task is one I have to do each month - Address 33 newsletters with postage from Stamps.com. When I was using a cellphone tethered to my computer it worked fine. Then I got the MiFi 4150L hotspot; that's where the trouble started. Thanks to your advice, everything works fine, now.
