export printer settings from server to a client

hi

To add a network printer using GPO isn't a problem, but howto export all printer settings from WIN2008 server into Windows 7 client to have the same printer settings on this client like on the server?

I've tried to export/import using the following PrintUI commands:

on a server:
rundll32 printui.dll,PrintUIEntry /Ss /n "PR01" /a "D:\support\pr01.dat"

on a client:
rundll32 printui.dll,PrintUIEntry /Sr /n "PR01" /a "S:\pr01.dat"

but get an error by importing on a client computer.

I don't know what's wrong, the printer was added before and is online.

Something else to read here:
Deploying Printers by Using Group Policy on Windows Server 2008

Why do you want to export the settings? Deploying the shared printer using the above method will be easier.

Sorry, but there is a lot specific printer settings and it's a lot of work to set this settings manually on about 1000 Windows 7 clients.
We need a possibility to export & import these specific printer settings.
