It's much more simple than you seem to think. Open notepad, copy and paste to notepad the part in bold and save file as flush.bat, everything else is automatic including the reboot.
The complicated way would be to have to use the command prompt and enter the commands one line at a time. :)

Sounds good, I figured that the reset would work in your case so asking for a LAN reset was a good call on your part. :)
It's a 4 layer network stack and if any one of those layers gets corrupted then certain aspects of the network will not work correctly. All it takes is a network overload, rogue file or clicking on the wrong link.
Thanks for reporting back in, there seems to be a serious lack of reporting back in after something is fixed lately.
