Hi everyone
Im new to this forum. I know that this post is quite old, but i have exactly the same problem with my PCI Wifi card and i tried every solution i saw in this thread and in other guides on the internet, but nothing came out as a definitive solution.
As you noticed, my english its not so good, so ill try to explain some details the best i can. Here i go:
-I have the same PCI Wifi card (D-Link DWA-547 RangeBooster N 650 Wireless-N PCI Adapter (300Mbps)
-I connected the card to a PCI slot in my computer (I wrote its specifications (those i know how to check. About the others, i dont know how to check them). There is only one PCI slot on it, so i canīt check if thats the problem.
-
Driver installation was done succesfully. The green light turned on and the computer detected the card. As far as i know, that means that the physical connection its well attached and means that its not the problem
-I canīt see any Wifi network. There are many of them within range. I know it because i tested with a Notebook that uses one wireless network next to my house (I have the key, not stolen, i pay for it

)
About the networks specifications. I know that it has a WPA2 key and i also know the SSID, but thatīs not useful if the wireless adapter just doesnīt detect it. It comes from a wireless router (D-Link DIR-600).
Thatīs all i can say, so far. If you need more information, iīll try to post it.
Bye
P.D.: All
drivers in my computer, including the wireless router, are upgraded to the last update.
P.D.2: If you didnīt read it before, i did every step in this thread before i posted this.
