How do I increase Win 7 wifi power output from 1/2 watt to 1 watt?

Hi all. I have a yagi antenna. My new job is located 2 blocks from my house. My yagi falls JUST short of getting a strong enough signal to use. If I could just push the signal a bit further, that would do it. I noticed my friends with linux can use command prompts and achieve this. How can I?
