    Cant connect to wireless router

my computer wont connect to my router. i have 2 others that do connect. one is windows 7 and the other is vista.

    all have avg free AV

I can connect to other networks but not mine. it is currently unsecured until i resolve my problem.

    things Ive tried so far:

    1. uninstalled drivers and restarted allowing generics to be installed.
    2. used networking card from a different acer laptop
    3. uninstalled syntec as far as i know. (norton associated i believe)
    4. deleting all networks and restoring firewalls to defaults

then i tried safe mode with networking and it did connect. but not upon restart in normal mode

any help would be much appreciated!

read through a ton of random post, and tried a lot of different things. Turned out Bluetooth collaboration was set to auto and disabling it has allowed me to connect now.
