Windows 7: My WiFi signal is very weak, how can I fix this?

Windows 7 Ult, Windows 8.1 Pro,
 
 

Moving the router to a better location as I mentioned earlier is the cheapest way to fix this problem but if your still not getting a good enough signal then using a dedicated wireless access point "not a secondary router" is the best way to go here.
