wireless network connection doesn't have a valid ip configuration

One afternoon my laptop decided to have "an initentified network" after having no problems previously with our dsl router. I am working from my functional desktop computer, so I will not be able to download any new drivers, etc. on the dysfunctional laptop since obviously I have no internet connection on it. After going through your forums and trying a couple of things to no avail, I did do the ipconfig/all, copied it on a usb and moved it over here. Here it is, I hope you can help. Thanks! Buffy624 Note: Also it looks like something weird is there for my DNS servers??? If that's the case, how would I change that in the little black box area of cmd.exe without messing anything seriously up. PS - also in going through the forums, I removed Bonjour since it was recommended in some of the answers - will that be a problem?

Does your laptop see the router SSID and succesfully connect?
Can laptop succesfully connect to friends router?
Can another laptop connect successfully to your router?

put network cable from desktop in laptop's ethernet port. Does that work?

Our friend could not find the wireless connection so that made me look at the dsl router and gave it a good old fashioned reboot. Thanks, my friend, it appears to have solved my problem!:)
