Win7 VPN client cannot connect to XP Pro server

I have set up a Microsoft VPN server on a Win XP Pro machine on my network. I can connect using another XP Pro machine as the client. However, when I try to connect using Windows 7 Pro 64 bit as the client I get error 919 with the message:

"Error 919: The connection could not be established because the

and password could not be matched with the settings in your connection
profile."

What must I change to allow Windows 7 to connect to the XP VPN server? Thanks.
