Problems with finding computers with network discovery on domain.

This may not be the right forum for this issue, if not, let me know.
I am working on an active directory domain, I don't do the server side of things but I know it runs on server 2003 systems.
The systems I am running are windows 7 x64. They are on multiple subnets.

I am having an issue with trying to get network discovery working. It turns on, that is not the issue. The problem is seeing other computers on the network. I can manage to see a few, about 8 or so but I have a few hundred I need to "see".
I would like to be able to see our old nt4 domain but if I can at least see our AD computers, I can change my license manager systems.
I have tried sending out a script to turn on network discovery and it seems to work but I am still unable to see my other systems.

What other possibilities could be causing this?
