Computer doesn't detect wired ethernet connection

I've been having internet connection problems for the last couple weeks, i moved my entire setup closer to my router, and i still had bad internet. I searched around my house a little bit and found ethernet cables, i connected them and everything but, windows doesn't seem to detect them (well it does but it doesn't use it as the connection)

I've tried resetting tcp/ip and winsows or w/e it's called and reseting internet and router, but it doesn't work.

You will need to disable your wifi in order for Windows to use your ethernet as your internet. You can do this by clicking on the network icon in the bottom right of your taskbar and clicking on "open network and sharing center." Once the network and sharing center comes up, go to towards the top of the light blue left pane and click on change adapter settings. Then, right click on your Wifi adapter which is probably titled "Wireless Network Connection" and right click on it and click on disable. You should now be using your ethernet.

If you open your Network Connections window and then right click the Icon for that adapter, there is a Diagnose option. Type network connections into the start menu search box to find it. Run that and post the results. Another option is to open a command window, All Programs > Accessories > Command Prompt, and run ipconfig/all. Then use the snipping tool to post a screen shot here.

If you have a USB thumb drive or other external media use that to transfer the screen shot(s) from one PC to the other. Run the Diagnostics and just post what problems it finds.

The ipconfig data for the Wireless adapter looks OK.
The ipconfig data for the wired adapter doesn't look right though.
Are you sure its plugged into a LAN port on your router?
Its showing an IP address of 5.87.190.14. < that looks like a public IP address to me. It should be something along the lines of 192.168.x.xxx
Did you change the default SSID and set a wireless password on your router?
Whats the make and model of your router?
