I just created the same Ad-hoc network on my computer as was created by WMWifiRouter, I have to manually connect to it the first time, but then it will continually wait for other users (my phone), and I can turn WMWifirouter off and on and my PC will reconnect by itself

windows will complain about creating an ad-hoc network that already exists, so create it with the phone Wifi off, and then WMWifirouter plays it cool and connects to the existing identical network.
I just tried your solution and it works great. I tried doing the same thing before but it never occurred to me to turn off the wifi on the phone.

    CloseOut Wireless reConnect Issue

I finally gave up in frustration and went to Toshiba, downloaded their Win 7 preparation tools for my laptop. Reinstalled my original Vista setup, ran their tool, and then finally used the Microsoft Upgrade to Win 7. The wireless reconnection issue was solved. For whatever reason the Win 7 upgrade out of the box is inadequate in this area.

For my purposes this issue is resolved.

I havent had a chance to try this but might work

When u create the ad hoc netork, at the screen where you have to enter Network Name and password, Check mark the option 'Save this network'
