Connectivity Issue in Making Laptop a Virtual Router/ Wi-fi Hotspot

    Hello,
I am facing a problem in making my laptop a virtual wi-fi hotspot using Virtual Router Manager.
Earlier it worked perfectly, I successfully surfed the internet on my mobile phone with my laptop as a hotspot.
Now, when I go to a website it says "service unavailable". I thought it was a problem with my phone but it works fine with other wi-fi spots.
Is there any configuration I have to do in my laptop ???
Please is there any solution ????
If you want any screenshots do inform me.

You can try using the manual method for your WIFI hotspot by following the link below.
Windows 7 Tip of the Week: Use Wireless Hosted Networking to Share An Internet Connection Wirelessly

Or you can use the Connectify software if you want.
    Features - Connectify

I'm not familiar with the virtual router manager.

    Thanks for replying.
Could not come online for illness.
I tried Connectify but it didn't work.
The manual method: Where do I have to change the setting ? Wireless-adapter or the Local Area Connection ??
I have a DLS cable LAN connection for Internet

Buy a Wireless router and connect all Wireless devices to that. There is NO good reason to use your notebook as a WiFi Hot Spot, Router when you have a DSL Broadband connection.

Funny part is most new DSL modems, which are routers also, usually include a WiFi system. So your DSL modem doesn't do WiFi?

No brother, my modem doesn't have a WiFi system.
This virtual WiFi has suddenly stopped working. Earlier it was perfect.
I will try to re install windows.

I tried the manual method as chev65. I was successful this time. My phone detects the WiFi signal. It shows "Obtaining IP address" when i connect. But then after a while shows "unsuccessful".

I did a clean installation of windows on my laptop. Now when I setup the hotspot and connect to the signal via my mobile, it connects but page doesn't load.
