    NETGEAR WNDR3700 Wireless issue

Ok here is my problem. In the last few days my wireless G mainly on cell phones keeps loosing connection, while my Wireless N is staying connected with no problem. I have no idea what caused it.

I have a friend here from europe and they use their phone with my WIFI and they were connected fine for about a week no problem. All of a sudden the wifi on G has been throwing them off along with my cell phone now. In the previous year or so since ive had this router i have had no issue.

Any idea what could have triggered this?

I have reset the router, settings, changed settings, flushed DNS changed the MTU size no luck.

It is now starting to bother me that i my self cant connect my wireless internet. but my N is staying connected with 0 issues. PLEASE help. Do you think it could be their phone throwing off some settings? sounds crazy but ill believe anything at this point.

Also my hard wire connection to my pc is not loosing connection either.

After reading many reviews about this router at Amazon it seems that the wireless G dropout problem is caused from using the "Auto channel" setting in the routers set up page for wireless. Some reviews are great, many others complain of drop out connection problems. Amazon.com: Customer Reviews: NETGEAR N600 Wireless Dual-Band Gigabit Router WNDR3700

I would try using the manual channel setting and look for a clear channel using a WIFI scanner like Xirrus. Wi-Fi Inspector | Xirrus
