    network adapter missing

A friend has a laptop and the network adapter has suddenly vanished and windows can not find any networks now. I have found the actual adapters in device manager, they were hidden, but they all say they are working correctly. The adapter doesn't show up in the networking and sharing centre where it should be. Only the ethernet one does.

Please try to uninstall in the Device Manager then reboot and reintall the Network Adapter.

    Did that solve the problem?

Ask your friend to post his own problem statement here so that we can deal directly with the person with the problem rather than going through a middle man.
