| | File sharing works on one PC but not the other Hi, i recently discovered a new problem with my room mate when trying to share files. I can access his shares and download them to my computer at a normal rate eg. 16mb/s etc. But when he tries to access my shares it either gets stuck on 'calculating' or downloads at only a few kb/s. The same happens if i try and drop a file into a full access folder of his. We are both on the same homegroup and have the same network settings. Network discovery is on. File and printer sharing is on. Public folder sharing is on. Password protection is off. Homegroup connection sharing is managed by windows. Running through a modem/switch.
