right yeah well all that is ok.
I just had another look on my bros WMP and he can now see me in "Other Librairies", but it doesnt show my music in any of the Folders, i havnt quite checked that out yet so it might just be something configured wrong, but i still cant activate the remote control thing on mine, and i cant see his cpu on my WMP.
Ill post back if i get any improvements
right, so ive maneged to play music from my computer on my bros, but this is using his computer not the remote. But his computer still hasnt shown up on my WMP.
And out of curiosity i clicked on my wireless signal at the bottom, then right clicked and "status" and noticed "IpV6 Connectivty" -- No Internet Access
this is on both our computers, should it say this or not?

The no internet access is normal at present as the IPv6 routers and web infrastructure is not available yet. Local IPv6 is the only thing needed for homegroups, and the fact that the message speecifies internet acces would suggest that the local is OK
The only other thing I can suggest is on both machines, In WMP delete and recreate the libraries and let them re-populate. The fact that you cannot set the remote option is worrying me - it seems to indicate that there is still something wrong with the homegroup
Its ok i SOLVED it, cause weve got an xbox 360, and dont have the expensive wireless thing we plug the xbox into our ethernet ports, we both have HDTVs so we alternate where the xbox is, and because i wasnt using it in ly room i dissabled the ICS (Internet sharing thing) and thats why he could see my PC on is WMP, so i dissabled it on his, and that now works.
So now i can control his WMP, but one thing is i still cant activate it on my computer, so i can control his but he cant control mine (if you get what im saying).
