Wireless apears to connect, but doesn't

Hi. This is kinda hard to explain, but i'll try my best. When i'm connected to no wireless networks, i get the normal "Networks Available" icon in my task tray, and i can click on it and select a network. When i do so, it does the normal connecting thing, but then goes back to the networks available icon. Then when i click on it, on the list of networks, it says "Connected" beside the target network. That's about all i have. I'm pretty sure it's not a hardware problem (how would that even happen?) because i'm on linux right now, and it's working. Thanks!

If you can post a screen shot of your ipconfig/all I might be able to help fix this problem. :)

Bridges aren't the way to go as you found out. Glad you have it working now.
