Using Trendnet TPL-310AP as access point for existing network
Has anyone ever used one of these powerline adapters to extend their wifi networks range into deep corners of their house with weak signals? I'm having trouble setting it up...
I all ready had a couple PL adapters in place(TPL-303E2K) and they worked great. I assumed this installation would go smoothly just add the adapter wherever you needed to boost your wifi networks signal and DONE... but it wasn't that easy. there is some configuration that needs to be done on the 310 adapter first which meant plugging it directly into a computers nic and accessing a browser based config utility. Anyone have any advice?
