being redirected to router internal interface

Whenever I enter the address routersim.com, router.com, or mostly anything similar to the word "router" (111router.com, routerzzzz.com) in any browser it takes me to the status page of my router (the one i use in my home, a Belkin Surf N300). It also happens on 2 other computers in the house which are PCs, two of which are wired and one wireless, all using Windows 7 Ultimate x64 SP1.

This however does not happen when I use a Mac, it takes me the correct page.

I used a old router (US Robotics with DD-WRT on it) and it takes me to the correct page.

I changed my IP address, subnet and class, and issues still remained. I then changed my DNS in Windows to another local ISP and to Google's DNS, both worked and took me to the proper site.

I changed the DNS on the Belkin and it didn't work. I figure there may be something wrong with the router, as it does not keep DNS settings from my ISP or anyone else's (Google, OpenDNS, etc).

I also tried to update the firmware on the router and it says this: Upgrade file is not the correct type or version for this device. Upgrade failed. Please obtain the correct file and try again.

What are the forum's thoughts on this?

    Solved it:

Belkin has a feature built into it's router, apparently when you type in the word router it takes you directly to the settings page.
