So i just completed my first pc build and im having some internet problems. I have it wired in with an Ethernet cable and im currently getting about 1.7 Mbps download speed and about .8 upload speed. All of my other computers are getting right around 20 Mbps download and about 4 Mbps upload. That performance is consistant even on a wireless connection.
Is this a common problem with home build systems? Im not an expert on networking so im not sure if this could be the cable that im using or an issue will my lan connection on the motherboard.
