TP-Link WN722N will not connect after sleep

Hi, I just bought a TP-link WN722N usb wireless N adapter, when I turn on the computer, the adapter can connect to the wireless network. However, when I sleep the computer then turn it on again, the usb adapter could not be found!

    How do I fix this?

What driver version are you using? Are you installing from an included CD or did you download the latest from the manufacturer's website?

Have a look at your network properties in Device Manager, if you already haven't done so, try un-ticking the box marked below.

    Hope this helps!

Thanks to earlier posts for giving me a clue what to do. I followed the "power saving advice, noting that.......

If there isn't a power saving option for TPLink in "device manager" in windows, then use the supplied "TPlink wireless configuration utility utility" and turn off power saving mode there - this worked for me.

NB - when I next restarted the computer, a "power saving" option was then available in "device manager>TPlink>power management" which I then had to turn off. If you don't at first succeed..
