windows firewall and teamspeak 3 server
i have recently had to re-install my team speak 3 server, allong with windows, but now when i set it up, people cannot connect. people receive the error "<current time> failed to connect".
i have all the ports opened up, i dont see what the problem is...
some people have said that you need a newer router... but mine is about as new as it gets...
some people say you just need to restart your router... but that clearly hasnt worked, ive had this problem for months, and regularly restart my router every couple weeks or so, sometimes weekly if im gaming allot.
somthing one person said, that has not worked, but i could be doing it wrong, which could be very true, is that you need to turn your fire wall off, and if you want a fire wall on your server, run it through an external ip.
the last one seems to be making the most sense, but seeing as how there are hundreds of answers, and so few good ones, imm just not sure.
clearly im screwing somthing up allong the way. if it is a windows/networking problem, which i greatly believe it is, i hope someone can help.
