I realize this could either be a Windows problem, or Adobe.
I installed CS6 Photoshop yesterday and am having problems with the Bridge (file viewer) program. I have a network using a Homegroup between my desktop PC and a laptop (JUDE_PC) in another room, linked by my broadband router. I can use Bridge to access (read/copy/delete) files on the laptop by clicking on the folder in Bridge (see screen shot below). I can also, of course, access the laptop files in Windows. If the laptop is shut down and i try to use Bridge, I get a system freeze on Bridge and have to cancel Bridge and restart the laptop to get Bridge going again. It seems to want access to the laptop, even though I'm not looking at any folders on the laptop with Bridge, and the laptop is not switched on.
Do I need to disconnect from the network?
