There are currently no logon servers available to service the login request.

    Hey guys,

I have set up a computer to log in automatically at startup using windows 7 user accounts controls. Every once in a while when the computer starts up it will fail to login with the aforementioned error and prompt for the password. I'm working with local adminstrative privelages and the computer is included in my company's active directory environment (and managed by their group policy). What i THINK is happening is that GP is overwritting some of the registry values periodically causing the autologin proccess to fail. Does this sound like the problem? If so, does anyone know of a way to get around this?

    Thanks a bunch!

If you restart the system after one of these failures, does it fail again? That information may help us to determine whether the problem is registry based, which would probably be a permanent issue (until the registry is changed back to how you want it), or something else.

Also, I am going to ask that this be moved to our network forums since your question is suited more for the experts there.
