Windows 7: Remote desktop issue

Im having a strange issue with remote desktop, windows 7 pro. I have remote desktop set of on 5 office pcs and it runs flawlessly.

I just set up a new lenovo thinkcentre 71 edge, and the remote desktop only works when i use my android 2X client. When I try to log in with a windows 7 pc I get "this computer cant connect to the remote computer".



This occurs even when the firewalls are disabled. I uninstalled norton. Disabled all firewalls, still no go.

All the port forwarding and windows settings are correctly set up, as it works fine with the 2x client. Any ideas on why i cannot connect with a windows machine?
I am using the correct ports etc.
