    Public folders on network become inaccessable.


    Hi
    Whut th heck is going on?
    Since xp the same ol' same ol'. Why after trouble shooting and getting access to my network folders does windows ALWAYS revert back to inaccessibility? You get it working for a short time and then it goes back to not being able to transfer simple files. This has been driving me nuts for years.

    Two os's win7 64 to and from 32bit could transfer files for about a week.

    are you really running the RC version of win7????
    maybe a 'real' version would help....anyway...here is a link to a win7 networking tutorial

Can't see all public folders

I have a handful of folders that I have moved into Public Documents on my W7 machine. All but two of them can be seen from Shared Documents on my XP3 machine. I have compared Properties between folders that can be seen and those that can't, to no avail. I can't see any differences. Any thoughts...
