Routing using ICS
This is pretty much what I'm trying to achieve:
Basically PC1 has dual lan and LAN1 is connected to Router1 which provides internet. I'm trying to share the internet with router2 through LAN2 using ICS but am having little success in getting it to work.
The reason for this is so I can manage the bandwidth of certain wireless connections through software on computer1. This could not be achieved through QoS.
Any suggestions on how to set this up?
Default ICS settings have been applied.
LAN1 has static IP 192.168.2.20.
LAN2 has been set to 192.168.137.1 by ICS.
Ive set router2 (a wrt54g) to automatically receive dhcp, dhcp enabled for wireless clients, local ip address to 192.168.137.2 and its connected to LAN2 via the 'internet' port on the router.
What am I doing wrong?
