Network interruptions with both internal and usb wifi adapter.

My desktop computer loses connection regularly and I cannot locate as to why. I have many other devices throughout the house at various locations which maintain a connection fine.

When the connection drops it still displays I am connected, but there is clearly no connectivity.

I've tried toggling between two devices, one an eternal PCI adapter and the other a USB adapter. I get interruptions on both, so my conclusion is there must be a setting causing this.

The desktop has been moved to other locations just in case of interference, and I've tried channel swapping as well.

I would suggest choosing a single wifi device and uninstalling any wifi utilities that you have installed, or drivers for any other wifi device (including disconnecting them). Then follow this tutorial to see if it helps at all with the single wifi device you have installed (created by Dinesh): Internet Troubleshooting Guide
