Why does my 2nd admin account ask for a password when installing?

Not sure why this is happening...

I have 2 admin accounts on my PC. When I try to install a software from my 2nd admin account, it asks me for the password of the 1st admin account.

But when I go to install the software in my 1st admin account, it doesn't ask for a password.

My 2nd admin account was initially a normal user account, but because it kept on asking for a password each time I wanted to install a software, I upgraded it to an admin account. Yet it still asks for a password!

Any idea why this is the case, and is there a work around?

    Thanks.

You might consider creating a new admin account to transfer everything over from your broken admin account to the new one in order to see if it solves the problem. This link will tell you how: Fix a corrupted user profile

However, you might simply check if UAC is the problem (it sounds like you do not want this security feature enabled): User Account Control - UAC - Change Notification Settings
