hotspot shield rep told me to change network.now i cant connect

hello, this is my first post on this forum. i am in need of some help regarding the windows 7 wireless settings.
a couple of days ago i downloaded the microsoft virtual wifi miniport software to attempt to connect to both my 4g connection on my android via tethering and also my home wifi network, i finished the download and ran the .msi or whatever file but couldnt figure out what exactly to do next, so instead i went online and downloaded net32(i think), i proceeded to install the software and upon completion received an error message telling me that the driver install failed, and that i needed to type "install driver" into the programs command prompt, right as i hit enter, my whole screen went black and i got a blue error box telling me windows shut down to protect my computer, so i restarted, and everything worked fine... up untill last night.

last night i was on tinychat.com and got banned, so i decided i wanted a proxy server type of deal to prevent this from happening, so i downloaded and installed hotspot sheild. the ****ing program never even connected, i went on their website with their live chat with a representative. i asked what i should do since it wasnt connecting to their servers, he ; John, told me to temporarily disable my firewall, so i did. still nothing, so he told me to disable my antivirus, so stopped the malwarebytes proccess tree, still nothing. next, he told me to go into my processes and close out anything that looked like it might block the signal from their website, so i ended a couple processes, i was extremely weary as to why this would have any affect on the program. but still nothing, next he told me to restart my computer and get back to him, since then i have had NO internet connection. when i open up the network tray my wifi shows up with "limited access" if i disconnect and reconnect it just says it is taking longer than normal and then the same result. i went and downloaded and installed the latest driver for my wlan card and still nothing.

i have came to the conclusion that it must have been one of the programs or services that i halted/ended in task manager.
i ran "ipconfig" in cmd and it just shows the tunnel adapter stuff, nothing about my ip.

also, i connected to my ethernet and i STILL cant get a connection, if i troubleshoot the issue ittells me there is something wrong with the adapter, but i know for a fact that there is not, its something with the settings. iv reinstalled the latest driver 5x times. also, it has NOTHINGto do with my router,as my second os on this computer still connects fine,(windows 7 ultimate x64) is there a file or something that i can copy over and overwrite the old settings?

please help, i need my internet back! i have no clue what i should go about doing next as i dont have a backup saved!

thanks for reading this wall of text! any help is greatly appreciated, as i need my laptop for my work!

If you can post a screen shot of your ipconfig/all I may be able to help. :)
