Am I missing something for desktop WIFI ?
My wife has an old Acer Ferrari 4K, Windows 7 HP and useing a Dlink nano USB adapter for public WIFI. She has no problem with access or reasonable speed.
My desktop is useing exactly the same Dlink setup in Windows 7 P and the two Dlink adapters are within six feet of each other, BUT many times when she has no trouble I can not get anywhere on mine. We both see and are connected to the same antenna. Mine does work well sometimes and at others will be slower than the second comeing. I realize her laptop has built in WIFI capabilities so my question would be , should something be added to the desktop to enhance reception?
Any and all help welcome, Art.
