    Wireless Connection Problem

I have an Asus A43S laptop and ever since I bought it, the wireless was working fine. Then my wireless modem didn't work properly (can connect to internet via ethernet but gives a really weak wireless signal to the point that even if I connect, there will be no internet). So I bought a new D-Link Modem and the wireless works fine on my android phone but suddenly it doesn't work on my laptop. It can detect the wireless network but everytime I try to connect it says 'Unable to connect'. I don't know how to fix this. Please help.

Yes it does ask for password and the router settings are set to allow any IP addresses to connect to it. Even my phone can connect to it. I don't know how to identify the broadcasting signal though. And I think it's a problem with my wireles adapter. I've tried the troubleshoot but no luck. My wireless adapter is Atheros AR9002WB-1NG. It says the driver is up tp date.

It's ok.. It's fixed. All I have to do was change the security encryption from WEP to WPA. But thanks for your attention on my problem anyways!! ^_^
