Cannot access some Networked PCs
Not sure when this happened, but I can't access a win2000 PC from Windows 7, I get "invalid Password or logon," and ask only for the password again.
It worked fine about four months back. The win2K is just a repository in case I need to find stuff from years back.
I have three PCs all 10/100 wired via the Modem/Router. Acer7, AcerVista, Win2K.
All have the same Logon Name and Password.
No WiFi in use. Router Firewall set to "None" MSoft Firewall is Off.
Password Sharing in Network Center is Off.
The Router and all three PCs can see each other.
Windows 7 can access stuff on WinVista but not Win2K
WinVista can access Windows 7 and Win2K
Win2K can access Windows 7 and WinVista
One other thing is that TightVNC on Windows 7 can access Win2K so it is defintely a Windows 7 access issue.
I have searched here and tried everything I found that I had not already tried.
