    Unidentified Network - No Network Access - Win7 64bit

For some time now my internet would be fine for 1hour after booting up my computer and then the network would then fail to be recognized. I have followed multiple tutorials on the internet, with countless suggestions, where other people have had the same problem. Some seem to fix the problem for a short time and then it comes back a week later.

Currently I am having to use my phone to connect to the internet.

Any changes I have made to try and fix it I have reversed. Except when I formatted my PC to try and fix it but again was only temp fix.

Any help would be much appreciated.

Willing to remote if needed but do not know how good the connection would be through my phone.

    Many Thanks

If you can post a screen shot of the ipconfig/all from this machine it would help me to diagnose this problem. :)

According to the ipconfig you aren't getting anything from the router at all.

Have you tried to reset the router yet?

Do you have iTunes installed on this system?

Have you tried to update the driver for this connection?

So it might be something wrong with my physical network ?

The network has 2 computers connected with ethernet over mains/power. 1 laptop wireless connection and 3-4 phones/mobile devices.

My computer is the only one having an issue.

All I see here is nothing is coming from the router. This could be a router problem though you say that other machines are connected. Have you tried updating the firmware on this router to the latest version?

The other questions are relevant, are you using the latest driver for this network connection?

If you can list your system specs it would be helpful to determine if you are using the latest driver for this connection.

Do you have iTunes installed on this system?

I uninstalled itunes to see if that would help with no success.

Is there a quick way of posting my system info ?

You should know what your own system specs are but we will forget that for now.

I figured iTunes was installed but it wasn't required that you uninstall it.

When you install iTunes it also installs a service called Bonjour, you will need to disable this service in Windows services in order to fix any problems it might be causing. Just type services.msc into the run windows to access Windows services.

This Bonjour service causes connection problems all the time on Windows systems.

is your network using ipv6 or ipv4?

I noticed in your specs that your ip adress is a apipa address which shows that your computer was not assigned a proper address by your dhcp server.

    Try this

click start, type cmd, when you see cmd right click on it and open as adminstrator, type ipconfig/release then type ipconfig /renew this will make your dhcp server to reassign a new ip adress to your computer, type ipconfig/all and see that your ip adress does not start with 169 also check tosee that your gateway adress is listed
