| | ADSL internet connection flickering on and off. So basically I'm using adsl for my internet and it seems everytime during a storm the internet will flicker on and off (ive seen it go up to 5 to 7 times within 5 minutes.) I dont know whats going on with regards to my isp but im wondering if this could be my modem, or my isp. any ideas? |

| | If you are on copper, you would be wise to unplug the modem and forget the internet during storms. I have lost untold modems, telephones and routers to lightning over the years. At this point I simply unplug everything at the first distant rumble....Oh yes, there was that one motherboard too...... |
